IMBBC offers an array of genetic services for industry and academia, which include:

Genetic Identification of species (DNA barcoding) from different source materials (using mitochondrial and/or nuclear markers), for fraud detection, forensic etc
Genetic analysis for aquaculture fish species (parentage assignments, estimation of genetic diversity of broodstock etc.)
DNA sequencing and microsatellite genotyping on an ABI 3730 DNA analyzer, for phylogenetic and population genetic studies.
